Last month our team has launched the first voice-interactive word search game "Word Cube" on Google Assistant that allows anyone to enjoy practicing English in multiple skills. The game is bringing new, fun experiences to English learning where learners can practice pronunciation at the same time as testing their vocabulary level.  

How does it work? 

The format of the game simply resembles word-search puzzles. But instead of just circling any vocabulary found on the screen, learners can have fun pronouncing the words out loud within the given time limit to successfully collect points and step-up to the next level. Powered by Conversational AI, the game can detect the pronunciation accuracy. Hence, players are encouraged to practice speaking and quickly identify vocab in this competitive game setting.

Let's go step-by-step to set up the game. 

1. Players get connected to Google Assistant on their personal devices. Set your phone on the horizontal and say “Talk to Word Cube” to Google Assistant to trigger the App to open. 

2. Players can start the game from level 1. Within one level, players can choose an easy, medium, or hard option which will determine the duration of countdown time. 
3. Once the game is started, players shall pronounce the words found out loud correctly to successfully earn points and pass the level. 
4. This game version has up to 10 levels. The higher level, the larger number of words to be searched. 
5. The harder and higher levels passed, the higher scores player can earn each round. 
6. Players can gather points by playing each level or by watching ad videos.
